Esmerelda Patrice Magillicuty was looking for the perfect Outer Banks vacation home. This was the first year that she was "in charge" of the annual vacation plans and she was nervous. Her mother-in-law ..."Mother Magillicuty" was so critical and hard to please and Esmerelda was determined to get this right.

Her sister in law (Marcella) has told her about Ocean Sands in Corolla. Esmerelda's family always went to the Outer Banks and they stayed in different homes and a different area each time. Last year Marcella found a great home in Whalehead Beach and that turned out great so Esmerelda trusted her judgement.

Her father in law, Mac, told Esmerelda to rent from Village Realty; "You get all the sheets and towels and they make the beds too. I like 'em...good people."

She made her list: 6 bedrooms, oceanside, private pool, and a high chair. No smoking was a must because Mac Jr was allergic. No pets because she was allergic.

Then Essie turned on her computer and went to www.VillageRealtyOBX.com.

Let's see now... this one was too big and that one was too small... this one has a hot tub but no pool and WAIT ... Bala Bungalow sounds perfect. What size are the beds? 3 kings, 1 queen, 2 twins and a pyramid bunk..that will work! Three master bedrooms, great.

Oh, yes it has a private pool and a hot tub. There is even a pool table, Mac Jr would love that. Wireless internet too (so don't forget your laptop pc).

Esmerelda picked the week she wanted and clicked "Book Now'...how easy. A few seconds later and her reservation was made. So easy and now the stress was off.

Even her mother in law would be happy and that is quite an accomplishment. The End (not really)
